I was born and raised in Sicily. For years I have roamed the island looking for the places you won't find in the guides: the alleys where time has stopped, the pastry shops that fill your cannolo with fresh ricotta right before your eyes, the beaches you can only reach if you know where to go. The cassate still made by hand in the pastry shops, together with the cannoli. The sincere wine of those who produce it to drink it, not to sell it. The freshly-pressed new olive oil that tingles in your throat. The sun-dried tomatoes hung on a string like decorations. The saffron picked at dawn before the sun burns it. The pistachio that grows only on the barren, black lands of Etna. The Sicilian puppets that still move in old-time theatres. The Cathedral of Palermo that grabs you by the throat the first time you see it, and all the others.

I don't sell tourist packages. I take you physically to the places I love — with the locals who do the real things. I build every tour myself, telling what I see.
